North South Travel
North SouthTravelCharitable Trust is a not-for-profit travel company, booking economical flights to everywhere in the world. It was founded in the 1960s in a period of great optimism, and a desire to help the developing world with a variety of grass roots charities. It continues to support projects like digging wells, supporting rural education, health, and businesses – especially for women.
Many have booked with NorthSouth Travel – as the notion of finding an ethical way to travel was very appealing. With an urgent awareness of climate change, it seems incongruous to be persuading anyone to fly. But NST was not unaware, and years ago, put in place a carbon offset contribution.
